Sora is a young Alaskan malamute bred to work, play, and occasionally cause just the right amount of chaos. She’s confident, expressive, and full of drive – whether she is pulling weight, trotting around the conformation ring, or tackling a Rally course with her signature enthusiasm. 

Sora has earned multiple Winner’s Bitch placements, her Rally Novice title, and is actively training in weight pull, Fast CAT, and scootering. She’s intensely food motivated, endlessly curious, and thrives on enrichment and engagement. While she loves a good challenge, she also excels at being an “ambassadog” – offering assault kisses at Meet the Breeds, greeting visitors, and charming children with her friendly demeanor and “Awoo”. 

This sassy and people-social girl is just coming into maturity with big feelings and an even bigger heart. Her expressions and body language tell whole stories, and she has learned to diffuse and disengage from the socially awkward malamutes in her home instead of starting a ruckus. Like many malamutes, Sora has some feelings about strange dogs, especially the ones that charge up to her, but she can disengage from that too with a quiet bit of help from her handler. 

Ultimately, Sora is a thoughtful, joyous working dog learning to carry the legacy of her breed with grace and a bit of goofy flair.
